We are incredibly proud to announce that a selected range of EcoCraft Outdoor Living’s recycled-plastic outdoor furniture is now available to view and purchase at The Farmyard Nursery in St Francis Bay.
For EcoCraft, this is far more than placing furniture in a new location. It represents community, local businesses supporting one another and another meaningful step forward in our journey—one client, one collection and one coastal town at a time.
Where a Simple Visit Became Something Special
Some of the best opportunities begin with a simple conversation.
During my first visit to The Farmyard Nursery, I met Clint and had the opportunity to walk through the nursery, talk about the St Francis Bay community and discuss what local homeowners genuinely need from their outdoor spaces.
What stood out immediately was Clint’s honest advice, practical knowledge and understanding of the local market. There was no hard selling—just a genuine conversation about quality, sustainability and products that make sense for our coastal environment.
Surrounded by plants, open space and the natural character of the nursery, it became easy to imagine EcoCraft furniture there. Our collections are designed to live among gardens, patios and outdoor spaces, so The Farmyard felt like a natural home for them.
That first visit has now grown into a wonderful local collaboration.
Experience EcoCraft Furniture in Person
Customers in St Francis Bay, Cape St Francis and the surrounding Eastern Cape can now visit The Farmyard Nursery to see, touch and experience selected EcoCraft pieces before purchasing.
Photographs can show the design, but seeing our furniture in person allows you to appreciate its strength, substantial construction, timber-inspired texture and comfortable proportions.
Our display introduces customers to pieces from the EcoCraft Outdoor Collection, including:
- The Ocean King Bench
- The Ocean Queen Bench
- The Neap Tide 4-Seater Eco-Table
- The Spring Tide 6-Seater Eco-Table
Available products may change as pieces find their new homes, so customers are welcome to visit the nursery to see what is currently on display or contact EcoCraft for a customised order.
Sustainability You Can Sit On
The beautiful charcoal bench pictured at The Farmyard may resemble timber, but it is manufactured from 100% recycled plastic.
Plastic that might otherwise remain waste is given a valuable new purpose and transformed into strong, practical outdoor furniture. At the same time, choosing recycled-plastic furniture reduces the need to use timber for products that must continuously withstand sun, rain, wind and coastal air.
This is what sustainability looks like when it becomes part of everyday life.
It is not simply a statement or a trend. It is a bench where families can sit, a table where people can gather and a long-term investment that can continue serving its purpose season after season.
Made for South African Outdoor Living
The South African coast is beautiful, but it can be demanding on traditional outdoor furniture. Salt air, moisture, intense sunshine and changing weather conditions all take their toll.
EcoCraft’s recycled-plastic outdoor furniture is designed to offer:
- Excellent strength and durability
- Resistance to rotting and splintering
- No regular painting, sealing or staining
- Easy cleaning and low maintenance
- Suitability for demanding coastal conditions
- Long-term value for homes and commercial spaces
Our collections are suited to private gardens, patios, holiday homes, guesthouses, restaurants, schools, estates, nurseries and other frequently used outdoor environments.
It is outdoor furniture created for real South African living: practical enough for every day, strong enough for commercial use and attractive enough to become part of a carefully designed space.
Rooted in Shared Values
The Farmyard Nursery is an independent, owner-managed nursery known for coastal-suitable plants, water-wise gardening and practical local advice.
EcoCraft Outdoor Living shares many of those values.
We both believe in choosing products that are appropriate for the local environment, encouraging more responsible ways of living and helping customers make decisions that offer value beyond the first season.
Plants and sustainable outdoor furniture naturally belong together. One brings life to a space; the other creates a place from which to enjoy it.
Local Businesses Helping Local Communities Grow
As a growing South African business, every opportunity matters deeply to us.
EcoCraft began with a belief that discarded plastic could become something valuable, attractive and lasting. From our base in Jeffreys Bay, we have continued growing through the trust of homeowners, schools, hospitality businesses and community-minded local organisations.
Having our furniture displayed at The Farmyard Nursery brings EcoCraft closer to the St Francis Bay community. It gives customers a welcoming local place to experience our products and shows what can happen when nearby businesses choose to support one another.
We may still be growing, but that growth is intentional.
One conversation.
One client.
One installation.
One local collaboration at a time.
Every EcoCraft piece placed into a home, garden or business represents more recycled material returned to useful service—and one more step towards a more sustainable South African outdoor-living industry.
